Laure headed to the market one evening after her shift at the cafe to pick up groceries for the up coming week. She had her bag, as always, looped over her sholder. The store was not exceptionally crowded, but no one bumped her regardless.
She wanted to go home, curl up with a book an fall asleep. But the viscious cycle of 'eat to live, and then you're alive so you need to eat' demanded that she get food.
She wasn't looking to meat anyone new...That didn't mean she wasn't going to.
